Deerfield park district has fun with ceramics

As part of its “school’s out” program for children, the Deerfield Park District hosted a Ceramics Festival Tuesday at the Jewett Park Community Center.
Children from first through eighth grade learned how to make a dog sculpture as part of the ceramics lesson.
As part of Tuesday’s program, students were also scheduled to go bowling, as well.
