Helicopter to hover over Deerfield park Saturday

The Deerfield Park Foundation will host its third annual Helicopter Ball Drop during the park district’s Community Services Day Saturday at Brickyards Park, near Kates and Pfingsten in Deerfield.
The fun begins at 3:45 p.m. Saturday, but those interested in buying a ticket for a prize ball — numbered to correspond to balls dropped from the helicopter hovering above the park — may do so online at www.deerfieldgolf.org/foundation or at the Jewett Park Community Center. Tickets are $10 each for a chance to win one of five prizes.
