Deerfield and Riverwoods police blotter for Sept. 10 - Sept. 17, 2012

The following incidents were listed in the official reports of the Deerfield and Riverwoods police departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest by police does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Riverwoods

BATTERY

Djuro G. Jocic, 58, of 811 Oakhurst Lane, Riverwoods, was arrested at 11:30 a.m. Sept. 11 and charged with misdemeanor battery after police responded to an incident on the 800 block of Oakhurst Lane. He was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond and is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 27 in Waukegan.

DUI

Andrew M. Nepstad, 22, of 13235 W. Hart Road, Wadsworth, was arrested at 3:55 a.m. Sept. 16 at Lake-Cook Road and Constance and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He also was cited for illegal lane use. He was released on $3,000 personal recognizance bond and is scheduled to appear in court Oct.10 in Waukegan.

POSSESSION

Anthony L. Seger, 29, of 1552 Orchard Lane, Glendale Heights, was arrested at 1:18 a.m. Sept. 16 at Deerfield Road and Forest Glenn Trail and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He also was cited for driving on a revoked license and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released on $2,000 personal recognizance bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 7 at the Mundelein Branch.
