Deerfield and Riverwoods police blotter for Oct. 31 - Nov. 6, 2012

The following incidents were listed in the official reports of the Deerfield and Riverwoods police departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest by police does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
Deerfield
TRAFFIC
Jasser De Yta, 33, of 305 Euclid Road, Highwood, was arrested at about 7:30 a.m. Oct. 27 and charged with driving without a license. He also was cited for speeding and driving with one headlight after police pulled him over near the corner of Lake-Cook Road and Birchwood Avenue. His court date is Nov. 20.
Balbino Huico, 60, of 1036 Elmwood Ave., Waukegan, was arrested at about 7:20 a.m. Oct. 31 and charged with driving on a suspended license. He was taken into custody near the corner of Waukegan and Lake-Cook roads. His court date is Nov. 20.
Richard S. Kulp, 27, of 668 Park Ave. West, Highland Park, was arrested at about 8:45 a.m. Oct. 30 and charged with driving on a suspended license. He was taken into custody near the corner of Deerfield Road and Parkway North. His court date is Nov. 20.
DRUG PARAPHERNALIA
Michael A. Swanson, 19, of 129 Wilshire Dr., Wheeling, was arrested at about 3:30 p.m. Nov. 1 and charged with possession of drug equipment. He was taken into custody on the 100 block oif South Waukegan Road. His court date is Dec. 17.
RETAIL THEFT
Zlato G. Nanev, 21, of 126 Lilac Lane, Buffalo Grove, was arrested at about 3:30 p.m. Nov. 1 and charged with retail theft and possession of drug equipment. He was taken into custody on the 100 block of South Waukegan Road. Police said he stole a pair of Adidas Commander TD 3 gym shoes from Sports Authority. His court date is Dec. 17.
