Riverwoods
ALCOHOL
Ariunsukh Narangerel, 36, of 13 Timber Lane in Vernon Hills, was arrested Aug. 12 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, improper lane use and operating an uninsured vehicle after he was stopped near the intersection of Milwaukee Avenue and Aptikisic Road. Narangerel was released on bond and assigned a Sept. 12 court date in Waukegan.
Bannockburn
STOLEN PROPERTY
Gumersindo Rodriguez-Ojeda, 39, of 232 Green Bay Road in Highwood, was arrested Aug. 10 and charged with possession of stolen property and driving with a revoked license. Police said Rodriguez-Ojeda was stopped near the intersection of Half Day and Ridge roads. During the stop, an officer reportedly noticed a woman’s purse on the floor of Rodriguez-Ojeda’s vehicle. Rodriguez-Ojeda told the officer he found the purse in a parking lot. He was taken into custody and the purse’s owner was contacted. Rodriguez-Ojeda was released on bond and assigned a Sept. 4 court date in Waukegan.
