Deerfield, Riverwoods and Lincolnshire police blotter - Dec. 13

The following incidents were listed in the reports of area police departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest by police does not constitute a finding of guilt; only a court of law can make that determination.
Deerfield
BURGLARY
The window of a vehicle was smashed Thursday in the parking lot of Walgreens, 1417 Lake Cook Road, and a radar detector valued at $750 was stolen.
IDENTITY THEFT
A resident who lives on the 800 block of Oxford reported Wednesday that a credit card company called him to verify that he had applied for a line of credit. However, he had not.
THEFT
A locked unit in the men’s locker room at L.A. Fitness (formerly Bally’s), 260 S. Waukegan Road, was opened Saturday and a Northbrook man’s wallet was stolen. It contained his drivers license, three credit cards and $250. A thief also opened an unlocked locker of a Deerfield man at L.A. Fitness, and stole his wallet. It contained his drivers license, four credit cards and $15.
A car key was stolen Dec. 6 from the pocket of a Northbrook man who left his clothing in an unlocked locker at L.A. Fitness while he worked out.
A Libertyville woman who on Wednesday accidentally left her wallet at Panera Bread, 190 Waukegan Road, when she paid her bill, reported it stolen when she returned to look for it and couldn’t find it. It contained her drivers license and two credit cards. The thief made purchases with one of the cards at Target in Highland Park.
Riverwoods
DUI
Debra A. Bee, 40, of 1321 17th Ave., Grafton, Wis., was arrested and charged Saturday with driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol and improper stopping on a roadway near Lake Cook and Portwine roads. She was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and is to appear in Waukegan court Jan. 4.
Paul V. Elarde, 47, of 1041 Brunswick Harbor, Schaumburg, was arrested and charged Saturday with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and is scheduled to appear in Waukegan court Jan. 4.
Kevin B. Gallagher, 57, of 1240 Westview Road, Glenview, was arrested and charged Saturday with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper stopping on a roadway, and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and is to appear in Waukegan court Jan. 4.
Lincolnshire
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Francisco J. Ibarra, 44, of 2410 Marshall Parkway, Waukegan, was arrested Dec. 5 at Illinois Route 22 and Olde Half Day Road and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and texting while driving. He has a Jan. 6 court appearance in Waukegan.
Bo Y. Lee, 25, of 215 N. Milwaukee Ave., Vernon Hills, was arrested Dec. 6 at Milwaukee Avenue and Route 22 and charged with DUI - alcohol and improper lane use. She has a Jan. 13 court date in Waukegan.
John O. Lipari of 200 Blackthorn Drive, Buffalo Grove, was arrested Friday at Route 22 and Hewitt Drive and charged with DUI - alcohol and driving too fast for the conditions. He has a Jan. 6 Waukegan court appointment.
THEFT
Numerous mobile telephones were stolen Saturday from a business on the 200 block of Parkway Drive.
