Updated: July 8, 2011 7:48PM

Congregation B’nai Tikvah, 1558 Wilmot, Deerfield, will honor Beverly Krugman at the Shabbat morning service at 9 a.m, Saturday.

Krugman will received the JHN Kavod Award from the Jewish Healing Network for her dedication and commitment in providing support to individuals during their times of illness and loss. The award will recognize all the work of Krugman and her committee.

In celebration of its 10th year of working with the Jewish community, the JHN wanted to recognize unsung heroes of the community. The recognition aims to honor individuals who have substantially contributed to improving the quality of life in Chicago by their dedication to the Jewish Cholim in the community.

Guest speaker will be Elizabeth Siegel Cohen, LCWS, outreach and bereavement specialist for the JHN of Chicago. Everyone is welcome to attend.
