Letter: Italian Kitchen delivers and more

In the July 26, 2012 edition of the Deerfield Review, Bridget O’Shea wrote an article on the Il Forno restaurant in Deerfield. In the article, it was stated that Il Forno is the only Italian restaurant in Deerfield that delivers. The Italian Kitchen has been in Deerfield since 1962, delivers and has some of the best Italian food on the North Shore, especially its chicken lemone. It has seen many restaurants come and go in Deerfield and continues to survive and succeed.

John Sciarretta, Sr., the founder, has been very active with the Deerfield Lions Club and the Deerfield Rotary meets weekly at the Italian Kitchen. The Italian Kitchen is very active and supportive of the community.

We patronize both restaurants and I strongly recommend that Bridget visit the Italian Kitchen and do an article on the oldest and one of the finest restaurants in Deerfield.
